Tammy Morgan is a passionate, positive, and seasoned musician with 20 years experience in the middle school classroom and nearly 30 years of experience composing for percussion.  She holds the belief that music has the power to help benefit everyone socially and emotionally.  When we connect with music, we connect with each other and the world around us.

She enjoys creating music that unites us with nature and one another. She believes that the simple act of making music together is something that fosters community. It’s a wonderful experience to be part of something bigger than oneself. In order to create music together, one has to depend on others. Everyone plays a part.

The purpose of her work is to further bring this experience to others. Tammy Morgan creates works for percussion ensemble that unite humans with each other and the earth around us.
